Reflection Statement

The three sculptures visually communicate whimsicality. While exploring the materials to build the sculptures, I wanted to focus on pattern and silhouette because they convey an emotion. I decided to include spirals and bright pink. I felt the work was lacking experimentation so I added parts like the inked duct tape on Reflection to use the materials in a new way. The making of this work exposed new ideas such as problem solving during a creative project.
